Frequently asked questions
Straight answers to common website and communications questions from community groups.
Do we need a website if we already use Facebook?
Facebook is excellent for conversation and promotion, but a website is easier to organise as a permanent source of information, documents, membership details and contacts. The two work best together.
Can you improve our existing website?
Yes. We can review it and discuss updating, refreshing or rebuilding it depending on what makes sense.
Can our volunteers make updates?
Often, yes. We can discuss a setup your volunteers can maintain, or arrange for IN123 to assist with changes.
Can you host our website and manage our domain?
Yes. We assist with hosting, domain registration, renewals, transfers and technical settings.
Can you help prepare a monthly newsletter?
Yes. Provide your news, photos and event details and we can discuss preparation and distribution.
How much will it cost?
Costs depend on the work involved. Contact us for a discussion and a tailored estimate or quote.
Who should own our domain name?
We recommend that the organisation retain appropriate ownership and administrative control, with clear handover arrangements as committee members change.
Do you only work in Tasmania?
We are Tasmanian owned and operated, with a particular focus on Tasmanian organisations, and welcome enquiries from elsewhere in Australia.
